Lisa Cavezza

I am an experienced coach specializing in executive functioning for ADD/ADHD, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent young adults. I offer both online and in-person sessions in the Bay Area, California. My coaching sessions are designed to help clients develop crucial life skills such as organization, time management, and goal-setting. As an educational advocate, I can help identify accommodations and modifications, along with advocacy, within the specializations of ADHD and ASD, to assist individuals in meeting their educational goals, as well as the transition from higher education to employment. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, providing a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and self-discovery.

My coaching is not just about addressing immediate challenges; it’s about building sustainable habits for long-term success. I help clients create effective to-do lists, prioritize tasks, and develop strategies to overcome procrastination. This holistic approach ensures that her clients are not just coping with their challenges but thriving in all areas of their lives.

Services Offered

Executive Function Coaching: Assisting clients with challenges related to motivation, focus, organization, and planning.

ADD/ADHD Support: Helping clients manage distractions, set achievable goals, and improve time management.

Social Skills Coaching: Working with individuals on the autism spectrum to enhance their social interactions, from basic greetings to understanding the nuances of social conversations.

Work History

Mentoring Neurodiverse Young Adults at Home:

I mentored neurodiverse young adults within their home environment. The goal was to support their journey toward independence by focusing on academics, recreation, and social activities. This included organizing play dates, coordinating extracurricular activities, and facilitating travel experiences.

Parents Helping Parents (PHP) in Santa Clara: (check to see if this is accurate) Within the PHP organization, I continued my mentoring role, working closely with parents of children with disabilities. My responsibilities encompassed academic challenges, recreational pursuits, and fostering social connections.

Personal Assistant to Professor of Medicine: (check to see if this is accurate) At Stanford University School of Medicine, I served as a personal assistant to the Director of the Stanford Central Coast Liver Clinic.

This role involved administrative support, coordination of clinic activities, and assisting with research initiatives.
